At Pregnancy Journey Sacramento, we have brought together a variety of resources to help prepare yourself to be a better parent.
Childbirth Class: The Bradley Method $350 for 10 week sessions
The Bradley Method teaches and endorses:
- Natural childbirth
- Active participation by the coach/partner
- Excellent nutrition
- Avoidance of drugs during pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding, unless absolutely necessary
- Relaxation and natural abdominal breathing
- Focusing in and working with your body
- Immediate and continuous contact with your new baby
- Breastfeeding
- Positive communication and support
- Parents taking responsibility for the safety of the birth place
- Parents prepared for unexpected emergency situations
Instructor

Heather Bell is a certified childbirth instructor AAHCC and Doula. She has been teaching The Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth for three years and has had two successful natural child births on her own (one hospital, one homebirth). Heather became a certified teacher after the birth of her first child Chloe. She felt so prepared and virtually fearless during labor, that she decided to become an instructor of this wonderful method of childbirth. Heather and her husband have since given birth at home to their son and continue to support parents who want the birth of their choice.

Music Pups Program
From Newborn to 4years old
$50 per month, $15 drop-in, $30 for accompanying book and CD for every 2 month sessions
Classes: Fridays 10-10:45 AM
Music Pups train very young children at an early age the language of music. Areas we work on:
- Developing audiation (the ability to hear music in our minds even when there is no music present)
- Develop musical aptitude (the potential for music learning and growth) in two areas rhythm and pitch
- Develop rhythm and tonal patterns
Instructor

Miss Martha obtained her A.R.C.T. degree in piano and her Grade 8 vocal certificate with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Martha has 27 years experience teaching privately (beginners-Grade 10 piano) as well as 3 years teaching music in a public school. Other capacities her has served in include Choir Director/ Accompanist, Music Director/ Accompanist for theater and Band Leader. Along with the Music Pups and MYC programs, Martha continues to provide private lessons to students with the National Certificate Program a division of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada.
